UFOs, UFO History, History of UFO Sightings, Project Blue Book, NASA UFO sightings, Full Discloser, Unidentified Flying Object, Annunaki, Are UFO’s Real? The stars are a beautiful and mysterious wonder. Mankind has observed the night skies for thousands of years wondering if we are alone in the universe. In modern times mankind has cast their eyes on the heavens and has ventured forth to discover the intriguing mysteries surrounding our solar system. To the ancient Egyptians, the stars represented life itself as this was where life began. This was exhibited in their mythology, magic and heliolatrous rituals.

One such myth was the belief that all life on earth started with a visitation from an outer worldly race of extremely intelligent beings called the Annunaki. The Annunaki, which means “those who from heavens to Earth came”, are often depicted as large winged beings and can be seen on many Sumerian tablets in museums around the world.

The ancient Egyptians believed the Annunaki to be of a higher power, living in the cosmos and that the stars in the heavens were gods or goddesses ruling over all life forms here on earth. “As above, so below”. The pharaohs of ancient Egypt so worshipped the stars, they believed they were reincarnations of the gods here on earth. By worshipping the stars, they would be gifted with the glory of immortality as well as invincibility.

Observation of the stars and the study of astronomy were first recorded by the Babylonians in 1600 B.C.E.

The first recorded account of an outer worldly visitation and UFO sighting was in 1440 BCE in ancient Egypt. It was reported that fiery disks were seen floating over the skies by scribes of the pharaoh, Thutmose III.

It is most intriguing hundreds of pyramids were constructed throughout Egypt as final resting place for the mighty Kings, Queens and Pharaoh’s amid the beauty of the majestic Sahara Desert. Interestingly each pyramid when observed from the air, appears to align perfectly with the stars in the night sky. This is most evident when we look at the alignment of the Egyptian pyramids of the Giza Necropolis with the constellation Orion.

In the pyramid of Khufu, the southern shaft leads up to the king’s chamber and lines up exactly with the constellation Delta Orionis or Orion’s belt. If one were to follow the southern shaft leading to the queen’s chamber, they would find it points to the Dog Star Sirius.

Inside many of these pyramids we can see interesting hieroglyphics that suggest the ancients were in possession of technology that was very advanced. Perhaps they had knowledge from an advanced alien race of beings who visited the earth many millennia before. Ancient astronaut theorists agree this is a high possibility.

There was also an ancient scroll that was discovered by archeologists in China that described a space craft from the 1400’s. In the vellum scroll, contained the daily events recorded by a city of people isolated in the mountains. The record contained mundane yearly events such as weather, births, deaths and results of rice harvests. It also contained an account of a circular disc that appeared from the sky and landed in their village. Hundreds of people witnessed the spacecraft and the friendly beings that came out of the craft.

It would not be for many centuries that the possibility of UFO’s and aliens was thrust reluctantly into the mainstream view. The first modern documentation of unidentified flying objects would not be until the 1940’s with the famous Battle of Los Angeles in 1942. Later in 1947 there was the apparent crash of a space craft containing several alien beings in Roswell, New Mexico.

Project Sign was the first in a series of systematic studies of unidentified flying objects (UFOs) conducted by the United States Air Force in 1947. A second study known as Project Grudge was initiated in1949.

Project Blue Book, Project Blue Book History

Project Blue Book began in 1952 to determine if UFOs were a threat to national security, and to scientifically analyze UFO-related data. In the project’s findings were thousands of UFO reports that were collected, analyzed, and filed. As many as 12,618 UFO reports were collected and it was concluded that most of them were misidentifications of natural phenomena such as clouds, stars or conventional aircraft. According to the National Reconnaissance Office a number of the reports could be explained by flights of the formerly secret reconnaissance planes such as the U-2 and A-12.

The first man to actually fly in space was Russian cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin on April 12, 1961. The first American in space would not fly until a few weeks later when Mercury astronaut Alan Shepard made the historical milestone as well. Most befittingly, NASA’s first space missions were named Project Mercury and Project Gemini.

Project Mercury Redstone became a reality when it successfully ascended to the heavens on May 5, 1961 at 9:34 AM from Launch Complex 5 at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Brevard County, Florida, USA. Alan Shepard stated the words “What a beautiful view “. There have been two space craft to travel to the planet Mercury including Mariner 10 in 1974 and 1975 as well as Messenger which launched in 2004 orbiting Mercury more than 4000 times during a four-year mission before running out of fuel and crashing on Mercury’s surface on April 30, 2015.

Gordon Cooper claimed to see his first UFO flying over Germany in the 1950’s and would become a voice to bring out the truth about UFO’s. He was a firm believer that there was a conspiracy to hide the truth about the existence of alien beings from other planets.

A small percentage of the staggering number of UFO reports were quickly dismissed despite being of an extraordinarily high number of reports in the 1950’s and 1960’s. These X-Files were deemed classified as unexplained, even after a thorough analysis. The UFO reports were archived and are available under the Freedom of Information Act and the results were made in the Condon Report of 1968.

Project Blue Book concluded there was nothing significant about UFOs and after a review of the report by the National Academy of Sciences, Project Blue Book was terminated in December 1969 and ceased all activity in January 1970.

The United States Air Force stated that no UFO reported, investigated and evaluated by the Air Force was ever an indication of threat to the national security of the country. They also stated there was no evidence indicating that sightings categorized as “unidentified” were extraterrestrial vehicles.
Following the Project Mercury mission, a NASA rocket ship safely landed on the Moon in 1969. Several of the astronauts including Buzz Aldrin reported they were not alone in space or on the Moon.

That to their amazement, they had the company of alien spacecraft in their view. Many of these astronauts stood by their claims for the rest of their lives. These men were already famous and had no reason to make such a fantastic claim at the risk of public shame, ridicule and risk losing their respected position in society.

As of 2019 there has been even more interest in the possibility of UFOs, alien beings and outer worldly visitations with the popular shows Ancient Aliens and Project Blue Book. We also have a new term to describe UFO’s in 2019. Now they are also known as Unidentified Aerial Phenomena or UAP for short. So, keep your eyes open and look up to the stars with an open mind and you too may see something you didn’t expect. A star that suddenly starts moving or a faint orange orb may catch your view and give you a fright. Science cannot or will not explain these unusual phenomena yet, nor crop circles, space craft or aliens.
